Welcome to Cordon Technologies

Cordon Technologies develops and licenses proprietary methods and intellectual property pertaining to sustainable agriculture and renewable energy in isolated economies. Cordon projects foster economic localization to reduce dependency on imports from the global economy and enhance food and energy independence.

The initial implementation of Cordon Technologies' proprietary methods and patents is the Hawai’i Sustainable Agriculture and Renewable Energy (HISARE) Project.

Based upon green chemistry, bio-mimicry and industrial ecology disciplines, HISARE proprietary methods:

1. Utilize abundantly available biomass to provide food (vegetables, fruit, meat and fish), energy (renewable electricity and bio-fuels) and economic independence for the project area;

2. Provide enhanced revenue from agricultural lands by utilizing the land for multiple food and energy crops. It thus lessens the motivation to develop agricultural lands by improving the profitability of keeping the land devoted to agricultural pursuits;

3. Generate career level jobs to the community to stem the brain drain from isolated economies.

Once demonstrated at the initial site, the Cordon Technologies proprietary methods, economic localization, food and energy independence can be replicated in many areas of Hawaii, the Pacific Basin and the World.

Cordon Technologies

Cordon Technologies builds the infrastructure and applies its technologies and proprietary methods in isolated economies to reduce dependence on the global economy.

HISARE Project

HISARE is a Hawaii based project dedicated to research and development of new technologies, agricultural techniques and ecosystem conservation processes to utilize Hawaii’s natural resources to deliver food and energy independence.
